/ The massif
From the Esterel
On foot, by bike or on horseback, the Esterel massif reveals its magnificent landscapes along the paths that cross it. Its red colour, which contrasts with the blue of the sky and the sea, comes from its volcanic origins: the massif is composed of rhyolite, or red porphyry, a volcanic rock from the primary era.
In terms of heritage, the Esterel massif has been marked by many civilisations and you can discover menhirs or an oppidum. On the nature side, many leisure activities are available. You can choose between hiking, climbing, mountain biking,... It is also possible to explore the Esterel by car on about 42 km of road.
Approximately 30 minutes from the Najeti Golf Hôtel de Valescure, 1h30 from Marseille and 45 minutes from Nice, admire the incredible landscapes of Cap Dramont, the Saint-Barthélemy rock or the Cap Roux belvedere and make a lot of memories.
